Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at Bray Main Street, which is easily accessible and serves as a central point in Bray. Head south on Main Street until you reach the junction with the DART train station. Continue straight onto the Vevay Road (R761). After about 500 meters, you will see the entrance to the Bray Head walking trail on your right, just past a small roundabout. Enter the trail and follow the path as it ascends, keeping to the left. The trail is well-marked and takes you through scenic views of the coastline. Continue to follow the path upwards for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach Bray Head Cross, which is located at the summit. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the top and take plenty of photos!

    From Bray Town Centre, walk to the Bray DART Station. Take the DART train towards Dublin and get off at the next station, which is Greystones. From Greystones Station, exit and head west towards the Greystones Harbour. Follow the signs for the Bray Head walking trail. The trailhead is about a 15-minute walk from the station. Once on the trail, follow the same route as described previously, heading upwards for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Bray Head Cross.
