Train
From Bray, head to Bray DART station, which is located at the southern end of the town. Once there, purchase a ticket to Dublin Pearse station. The train journey will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Dublin Pearse, exit the station and walk towards the end of Pearse Street. From there, continue walking straight until you reach the Grand Canal Dock area, which will be on your left.
Bus
You can take the Dublin Bus route 145 from Bray. Catch the bus from Bray Main Street (stop number 301) heading towards Dublin City. The bus will take you directly to the Grand Canal Dock area. Stay on the bus for about 45 minutes until you reach the stop for Grand Canal Dock. Once you get off, follow the signs to Grand Canal Square.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route from Bray to Dublin. Start at Bray Seafront and follow the coastal path north towards Dublin. This is a longer trek of approximately 12 kilometers and will take about 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you reach the end of the coastal path, you will need to navigate through the city streets towards Grand Canal Dock. It's a beautiful walk, but make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct and comfortable option, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare app. Simply request a ride to 'Grand Canal Square, Dublin'. The journey will typically take around 30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are headed to the Grand Canal Dock area.
