Discover more about Roe & Co Distillery

Roe & Co Distillery provides a contemporary and engaging exploration of Irish whiskey, honoring the legacy of George Roe, a 19th-century whiskey pioneer. The original Thomas Street Distillery, owned by Roe, was once the largest in Ireland, but it closed in 1926. Diageo revived the brand in 2017, establishing a new distillery in the former Guinness Power Station, a building intrinsically linked to the Guinness Storehouse. Visitors can embark on guided tours of the working distillery, witnessing the distillation process from a raised walkway. The distillery offers a fully immersive walkthrough of the state-of-the-art Still House. Experiences include whiskey tastings, cocktail classes, and blending sessions, allowing guests to discover their ideal taste profiles. The Power House Bar provides a relaxing space to enjoy signature Roe & Co cocktails. Roe & Co is committed to providing an inclusive experience, with wheelchair accessibility and sensory kits available. The distillery has also been recognized as Ireland's Visitor Attraction of the Year and Brand Innovator of the Year at the Icons of Whisky Awards 2025.
