    If driving from Wicklow town, head north on the R755 towards Rathdrum. After about 10 km, turn left onto the R764. Continue for another 6 km until you reach a junction. Turn right onto the L1006, which will take you directly towards Ballynamaddagh. Follow this road for about 3 km, and you will find Trigonometric Point Ballynamaddagh on your left. Parking is available nearby. There are no tolls on this route.

    From Dublin, take the train to Wicklow. From Wicklow, you can take the 183 bus towards Rathdrum. From Rathdrum, it is best to walk or take a taxi to the Trigonometric Point. A taxi from Rathdrum to Ballynamaddagh will cost approximately €10-€15. The bus from Wicklow to Rathdrum costs €3-€5.
