Getting There

  • Car

    From Cliffs of Moher, head southeast on the R478 road towards Liscannor. Continue on the R478 until you reach the junction with the N67. Take a right onto the N67 and follow it for about 7 km. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N18 towards Limerick/Shannon. Continue on the N18 for approximately 20 km. Take the exit towards Shannon and merge onto the R355. Follow the signs for the Shannon Aviation Museum. The museum is located on Link Road, Smithstown, Shannon, Co. Clare, V14 PH34. Parking is available on-site.

    From Cliffs of Moher, make your way to the nearest bus stop in Liscannor. Take the Bus Éireann route 350 towards Ennis. In Ennis, transfer to the route 343 bus heading to Shannon. The bus will drop you off near the center of Shannon. From there, you can either take a taxi or walk approximately 15 minutes to the Shannon Aviation Museum located at Link Road, Smithstown, Shannon, Co. Clare, V14 PH34.
