    If you are driving to Lough Gorteen from Ennis, take the N85 road out of Ennis towards the town of Kilrush. After approximately 12 kilometers, take the exit for the R471 towards Cratloe. Continue on the R471 for about 5 kilometers until you reach Brickhill East. Follow the signs for Lough Gorteen, which will be on your left. There is parking available near the lake.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Lough Gorteen via public transport, take a bus from Ennis to Limerick. From Limerick, transfer to a bus heading towards Shannon. Get off at the stop for Cratloe. From there, you will have to walk approximately 2 kilometers to Lough Gorteen. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.
