Getting There

    From the main entrance of Connemara National Park, head southwest on the N59 road towards Clifden. Continue for about 15 kilometers (9 miles) until you reach the town of Clifden. Once in Clifden, follow signs for Sky Road (Sky Rd). Turn right onto Sky Road at the junction near the Clifden Castle ruins. Follow Sky Road for about 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) until you arrive at the viewpoint and parking area for Sky Road. Note that parking may have a small fee, usually around €5. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding landscape.

  • Public Transportation

    If you're traveling by public transport, take a bus from Galway City to Clifden. Bus Éireann operates routes that run multiple times daily.
