If driving from Cavan Town, head northwest on the R198 towards the N3. Continue on the N3 until you reach the junction for the R205. Take the R205 towards Ballinagh and follow the signs for Deerpark Forest. The entrance is on the left side of the road. Parking is available at the car park beside Virginia Rugby Club. Parking is free.
