    From Cork City Centre, the No. 202 bus will take you closest to SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh. The bus leaves from Parnell Place and stops at Ballintemple, about 250 meters from the stadium. Originally opened in 1904 as the Cork Athletic Grounds, the stadium has a rich history. In 1976, it was repurposed and named Páirc Uí Chaoimh in commemoration of Pádraig Ó Caoimh, the late general-secretary of the GAA, who was instrumental in developing the association. Following a naming-rights agreement in February 2024, the stadium was branded SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh. The stadium underwent a significant two-year redevelopment, reopening in 2017 with a capacity of 45,000, including 21,000 seated and 24,000 standing. The grounds are fully wheelchair accessible. On match days, the stadium has 18 bars and 9 food kiosks. SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh has hosted a wide array of events, including matches, concerts by international stars like Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, and U2, and festivals. The stadium continues to be a central part of Cork's cultural and sporting life.
