Bus is excellent, definitely worth doing.

Hop on hop off Big bus was excellent. A great way to see the city and would heartily recommend. They need to update the commentary about the places that are closed long term such as Dublin castle and the natural history museum as it’s disappointing when you get off from the bus for them only to learn they’re closed. The Jameson distillery tour was ok although I didn’t realise there was no tour round a distillery. It’s not there any more. It was a talk about how they make the whiskey and a taster session. The staff were brilliant and made it as interesting and entertaining as they could but there is no tour of an actual distillery.

Memorable Experience

Very pleasant experience was the Big Bus tour with guided explanation of each sector in a very lively way. It was possible to get a general impression that included historical, cultural and current observations. The possibility of making stops and the length of service for 24 proved to be a great option to enter vibrant and young Dublin. Its churches and historical monuments give an account of its legacy and tradition. Its architecture combines history, emblematic buildings and modern glazed and metal design constructions in harmony. The classic pubs invite the creamy lather of Guiness and they provide a free glass of emblematic beer, a 2x1 in a Restaurant and the children do not pay. What option to visit so many attractions that this city offers and Big Bus through 25 stops and audio guide in several languages allowed us to enjoy it with the 2 views of the top, bottom, day and night. The weather and sun accompanied the views, the proper Celtic music created a period climate and a unique and memorable experience in the land of Wilde, Beckett, Stoker and U2!!!

Dublin Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour with Guide and Little Museum Entry

Great way to scope out the city and learn and laugh at the same time.

Fun filled knowledge tour, we hopped on and off for two days. So impressed by all of the drivers who were friendly, knowledgeable and humorous. How they keep up the banter and history while navigating the street of Dublin is beyond me, but they do and they are an excellent craic! There is no better introduction to Dublin, I have been here loads of times and wished I had hopped on and off many years ago, as my working knowledge of the city would be so much better. Our group 56- 14 all thoroughly enjoyed every journey we had.
