Train
From Drogheda, walk to the Drogheda Train Station located on the south side of the River Boyne. You can take the train to Howth, but first, you will need to change trains. Board a train heading to Dublin Connolly Station. Once you arrive at Dublin Connolly, follow the signs to the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) platform. Take the DART train towards Howth. The journey from Drogheda to Howth, including the transfer, will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Disembark at Howth Station.

From Drogheda, head to the Drogheda Bus Station, which is located on the corner of Fair Street. Look for the Bus Eireann service that goes to Dublin. You will need to take a bus to Dublin and then transfer to a DART train at Connolly Station. Once you arrive at Connolly Station, follow the signs for the DART. Board the DART train towards Howth. The entire journey from Drogheda to Howth may take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on wait times.
