Getting There

• Walking

  From Drogheda town center, head towards the bus station on Fair Street. Once at the bus station, take the bus to Dublin. Buses such as the 100X or any service heading towards Dublin city will take you to the city center. After arriving in Dublin, make your way to O'Connell Street. You can do this by walking towards the river Liffey and crossing over the O'Connell Bridge. Once on O'Connell Street, you will want to head west towards Parnell Square. From there, continue walking towards the Smithfield area by taking the right turn onto Church Street. Continue straight until you reach the Meetinghouse Lane where St. Mary’s Abbey is located at number 4.

• Bus

  Starting from Drogheda, head to the local bus station and board a bus to Dublin. Look for routes like the 100X or other services that go directly to Dublin city center. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Dublin, exit and walk towards O'Connell Street. From O'Connell Street, walk west towards Parnell Square and then take a right onto Church Street. Follow Church Street until you reach Meetinghouse Lane. St. Mary’s Abbey will be on your left at 4 Meetinghouse Lane.

• Train

  From Drogheda Train Station, take a train to Dublin. Depending on the schedule, you can catch a Northern Commuter service or another direct service to Dublin. Upon arriving at Dublin's Connolly Station, exit the station and head towards O'Connell Street. Once on O'Connell Street, move west towards Parnell Square and turn right onto Church Street. Continue straight until you reach Meetinghouse Lane. St. Mary’s Abbey is located at 4 Meetinghouse Lane on your left.
