Walking

From Murlach Moorings, the beach is a short walk. Follow the path towards the coast, and you'll soon reach the sandy shore. The walk is easy and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.

Public Transport

Take the Bus Éireann service from Galway to Clifden. From Clifden, you can take a local taxi to Ballyconneely, which is about 10 km away. From Ballyconneely village, it's a short walk to Murlach Moorings and then to the beach. A taxi from Clifden to Ballyconneely will cost approximately €15-€20.

Driving

From Clifden, take the R341 road towards Ballyconneely. As you approach Ballyconneely, look for signs directing you to Murlach Moorings. Turn onto the local road that leads to Murlach Moorings, where you will find Beach hidden. Parking is limited near the beach. There are no toll roads on this route.
