From the center of Ennis, start at the Ennis Abbey on Abbey Street. Head northeast on Abbey Street towards O'Connell Street. Continue straight onto the R469 road (also called Station Road). As you walk, you'll pass by the Ennis Train Station on your left. Keep walking straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N85 road towards Galway. Continue on the N85 for approximately 25 kilometers. You will see signs for Galway. Once you enter Galway city, follow the signs for the city center. Bowling Green is located near the Eyre Square area in Galway, which is a popular meeting point and easily accessible on foot from the surrounding streets.

From Ennis, head to the main bus station located at the Ennis Bus Depot on the Kilrush Road. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Galway City. Buses run frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus station in Galway, exit the station and walk towards Eyre Square. You can ask locals for directions to Bowling Green, which is a short 5-10 minute walk from Eyre Square.
