If driving from Connemara National Park, head south on the N59, then take the R341 towards Clifden. Continue on the R341, passing through scenic villages until you reach Aillebrack. Look for signs directing you to Granny's Beach, located off the R341 on an unnamed road. Limited parking is available near the beach. Parking is free.

Public Transport

To reach Granny's Beach via public transport, take a bus from Galway City to Clifden. Citylink and GoBus provide regular services. From Clifden, take a local taxi or pre-arranged shuttle to Aillebrack. Inform the driver you wish to go to Granny's Beach. Bus fare from Galway to Clifden typically costs around €15-€20. A taxi from Clifden to Aillebrack may cost approximately €20-€30.

Walking
