Driving

Lough Grillo is located off the beaten path and is best accessed by car. From Clifden, take the N59 towards Maum. Once in Maum, follow local road signs for Lough Grillo. The roads are narrow, so drive carefully. Parking is limited near the lake.

Taxi

Taxis are available in Clifden, but it's best to book in advance. A taxi from Clifden to Lough Grillo will cost approximately €40-€50. Be sure to arrange a return journey, as taxis are not readily available in the area.
