If driving from Galway city, head west on the N59 towards Clifden. Continue on the N59 for about 35 km until you reach the town of Oughterard. As you approach Oughterard, take a left onto the R345. Follow the R345 for approximately 4 km, and then turn right onto an unnamed road. The New Duck Pond will be located along this road, roughly 1 km from the turn. Parking is available along the side of the road. Parking is free.
