If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Galway City. Head southeast on Shop Street towards Quay Street. Continue straight onto the R336, and follow signs for Lough Atalia Rd. After approximately 1 mile, you will see Forthill Cemetery on your left at Lough Atalia Rd. There is limited parking available on the street. Please be mindful of local parking regulations.

The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace. Forthill Cemetery will be on your left side along Lough Atalia Rd, just before you reach the main road junction.
