Getting There

  • Driving

    From Tralee, take the N86 towards Dingle. After approximately 20 km, turn left onto the R561 towards Inch. Follow signs for Castlegregory and then Maharees. Parking is available near the beach. Note that the roads are rural and narrow, so exercise caution.

  • Public Transport

    Take the Bus Éireann Route 275 from Tralee to Camp. From Camp, a taxi to Maharees Beach is approximately a 10-minute drive. It is advisable to book a taxi in advance. The bus fare from Tralee to Camp is approximately €2.50 for adults and €1.00 for children/young adults. A taxi from Camp to Maharees will cost approximately €15-€20.
