Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Killarney, take the N22 road towards Tralee. After approximately 20 km, take the exit for the N86 towards Dingle. Continue on the N86 for about 25 km until you reach Camp. At Camp, take the R560 towards Kimego West. Follow the R560 for about 10 km until you see signs for Cahergal Stone Fort. There is a small parking area nearby where you can leave your car.

  • Public Transportation

    From Killarney, take a bus to Tralee (Bus Eireann service). Once in Tralee, transfer to a bus heading to Dingle. Ask the driver to drop you off at Camp. From Camp, you will need to walk approximately 3 km to reach Cahergal Stone Fort. Follow the R560 road towards Kimego West; be cautious as there may not be a dedicated footpath for pedestrians.
