    From Killarney, take the N71 road towards Kenmare. Continue on the N71 for approximately 26 km until you reach the junction with the N70. Turn left onto the N70. After around 10 km, you will see signs for Derryard. Turn right onto the R569 towards Derryard. Follow this road for about 5 km, and you will reach Idukki Waterfalls, located at X967+9W, Derryard, Eirc, Co. Kerry.

    From Tralee, take a bus (Bus Éireann route 13) to Killarney. From Killarney, transfer to a bus heading towards Kenmare (Bus Éireann route 40). Get off at the stop near Derryard.
