Getting There

  • Car

    From Killarney, take the N72 road towards Killorglin. Continue on the N72 until the roundabout, then take the second exit onto the R561. Follow the R561 for approximately 15 kilometers, then turn left onto the R564. Rossbeigh Beach Overlook will be on your right after about 5 kilometers. Parking is available near the overlook. Parking may have a small fee.

    Take a bus from Killarney to Killorglin (Bus Éireann route 40). From Killorglin, take a local taxi or arrange for a rideshare to reach Rossbeigh Beach Overlook, as public transport options are limited. The taxi ride from Killorglin to Rossbeigh Beach will take approximately 15 minutes and may cost around €15-€20. Alternatively, take Bus 279A to Glenbeigh Village and walk approximately 50 minutes (3.8km) to Rossbeigh Beach.

    For those already in Glenbeigh, head out from the center of the village towards the R564 road. Follow the R564 for about 2.5 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. The walk should take approximately 30 minutes.
