Car
From Tralee, take the N69 road towards Listowel. After approximately 20 km, turn left onto the R551 towards Ballylongford. Continue straight for about 9 km until you reach Ballylongford. As you enter the village, follow signs for Carrigafoyle Castle. The castle is located on the left side of the road in Carrigafoyle, just a short distance from the village center.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Tralee to Listowel. Bus services such as Bus Éireann operate this route. Once you arrive in Listowel, transfer to a local bus service heading to Ballylongford. The journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on connections. After arriving in Ballylongford, Carrigafoyle Castle is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Head towards the village center and follow the signs to the castle.
