The Ewe Experience is located on the N71 Kenmare Road, a 15-minute walk from the Glengarriff village. From the village center, head east on the N71. The attraction is well-marked with signs. There are no costs associated with walking.
Public Transport

If arriving by bus, disembark at the Glengarriff bus stop. From there, it's approximately a 15-minute walk along the N71 Kenmare Road to The Ewe Experience. Bus Éireann operates services to Glengarriff from nearby towns. A single fare from Cork to Glengarriff costs approximately €11-€17. The garden is thoughtfully designed to engage your imagination and spark your curiosity, with surprises around every corner. The soothing sounds of a cascading waterfall accompany you as you cross bridges and meander through hidden corners.The Ewe Experience is divided into four themed gardens: Falling Water Garden, Timeless Glen, Environmental Forest, and Valley of Eden. Each garden showcases a different aspect of nature and art, with sculptures crafted from recycled materials in the Environmental Forest and lush Jurassic planting in the Valley of Eden. Along the way, you'll encounter educational boards that provide insights into the environment, plants, animals, and local history.Originally the home of artist Sheena Wood and her husband Kurt Lyndorff, The Ewe Experience has evolved over three decades into an open-air natural history museum with a twist. It's a place where you can slow down, reconnect with nature, and rediscover your sense of wonder.**Please note that The Ewe Experience will be open for its 32nd and last season in West Cork until August 31st, 2025**.
