Digby Lock Cruise - Explore Ireland's Historic Grand Canal.

Definitely recommend this trip on the barge. Thanks especially to our skipper Chris😊

Very happy to recommend this trip on the barge from Sallins to Digby Lock. It’s a wonderful setting, a whole different way to see the countryside & birdlife, going at the relaxed pace of the barge. Add in the experience of heading through the lock, both rising up & down + crossing the Liffey on the beautiful Leinster Acquaduct The barge was well kept & very well organized. Stove made the inside as cosy as could be. My grandsons’ favourite spot was at the front. We bought our food to have with the tea & coffee available. But, best of all was our skipper Chris. We decided it was his genuine enthusiasm, range of information & willingness to discuss all our questions which made our morning such a success. A big thanks from 7 very happy people 🤗
