Head southwest on the R445 road and continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the R413. Turn right onto the R413, and after approximately 1 kilometer, you will see signs for Pollardstown Fen. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the parking area for the nature reserve, which is located at the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Pollardstown Fen using public transport, you can take a train from Dublin to Kildare town, which operates regularly. Once you arrive in Kildare, you can take a local bus (check the local timetable for the most accurate times) heading towards Naas. Ask the driver to drop you at the nearest stop to Pollardstown Fen. From there, it is about a 20-minute walk to the nature reserve entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as they may vary.
