Car
If you're driving, head towards Bruff in County Limerick. From Limerick City, take the N20 road towards Cork. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit for the R516 towards Bruff. Continue on the R516 until you reach Bruff. In Bruff, follow the signs for Lough Gur. After about 5 minutes of driving, you'll see the entrance to Lough Gur Lakeshore Park & Visitor Centre on your left. There is free parking available on-site.

To reach Lough Gur by public transport, take a bus from Limerick City to Bruff. Bus Eireann operates services on this route; check their schedule for the most convenient times. Once you arrive in Bruff, you can either walk (approximately 3 kilometers) or take a local taxi to Lough Gur Lakeshore Park & Visitor Centre. If walking, head southeast on Main Street and follow the signs towards Lough Gur. The walk will take about 40 minutes.
