If you're traveling by car, start from Limerick city center. Head south on the N69 towards Foynes. After approximately 11 km, take the exit onto the R512 towards Lough Gur. Continue on R512 for about 8 km, following the signs for Lough Gur. Once you reach Lough Gur, look for parking near the visitor center. From there, the Wedge Tomb is a short walk, approximately 1 km from the visitor center. Follow the marked trails.

Public Transportation
To reach Lough Gur by public transportation, take a bus from Limerick city to Bruff. Bus services such as Bus Éireann operate on this route. Once in Bruff, you will need to hire a taxi to take you to Lough Gur, as public transport options to Lough Gur are limited. The taxi ride should take about 15-20 minutes and cost around €15-€20. Once you arrive, the Wedge Tomb is about a 1 km walk from the drop-off point. Follow the signs to the visitor center to get to the tomb.
