Car
From Monaghan town, head southwest on the N2 road. Continue for approximately 7 km until you reach the junction for the R183. Take the R183 exit towards Ballinode and continue for about 3 km. Turn left onto the L1301 road and follow it for around 1.5 km. The Rossmore Castle Ruins will be on your right in Rossmore Forest Park. Parking is available at the park entrance.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Monaghan town to the nearby village of Ballinode. Buses run regularly; check the local schedule for exact times. Once you arrive in Ballinode, you will need to walk approximately 2 km to reach Rossmore Castle Ruins. Head south on the R183, then turn right onto the L1301 road and walk straight until you reach Rossmore Forest Park. Be prepared for a short walk through the park to reach the ruins.
