Car
If you're driving from Roscommon town center, head northeast on Church Street toward Castle Street (R366). Continue straight for about 0.5 km. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N61. After approximately 1.5 km, take the exit for R362 towards Ballypheasan. Continue on R362 for about 2 km. Turn right onto Abbey Street, and you will find Roscommon Abbey on your left, just off the main road. There is parking available nearby, but be aware of any local parking regulations.

From Roscommon town, you can take a local bus service to Ballypheasan. Look for Bus Eireann services that operate on the route. Check the latest schedule online or at the bus stop. The journey typically takes around 15-20 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to Abbey Street. From there, it's a short walk (about 5 minutes) to Roscommon Abbey. Follow Abbey Street, and you will see the Abbey on your right.

If you are already in Ballypheasan or nearby, you can simply walk to Roscommon Abbey. Start from Ballypheasan Community Centre and head northwest on Main Street. Turn left onto Abbey Street, and continue straight for about 1 km. The Abbey will be on your left, near the intersection with the R362 road. The walk is pleasant and allows you to enjoy the local scenery.
