Follow the R445 to the R506 turnoff and head towards Murroe. Continue on the R506 until you reach the Ashroe area. Clare Glens Waterfall is located near the village of Ashroe, Co. Limerick. You can park at the designated parking area near the entrance to the walking trail that leads to the waterfall. The journey from Limerick City should take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Public Transportation
To reach Clare Glens Waterfall using public transport, take a bus from Limerick City to Murroe. Bus Eireann operates services along this route. Once you arrive in Murroe, you can either walk to the waterfall (approximately 3 kilometers) or arrange for a local taxi to take you to the Ashroe area. Walking
For those who enjoy hiking, if you're staying near Murroe, you can walk to Clare Glens Waterfall. From the village of Murroe, head along the R506 road towards Ashroe. Once you reach the Ashroe area, follow the signs that lead to the waterfall. The walk from Murroe to the waterfall is about 3 kilometers and should take approximately 40 minutes on foot. Remember to wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on uneven terrain.
