If you're driving to Mitchelstown Cave, start from the nearest major town, Cahir. Head west on the N24, then take the exit for the R668 towards Mitchelstown. Follow the R668 and look for signs for Mitchelstown Cave. The cave is located at Coolagarranroe, Co. Tipperary, E21 H920. There is ample parking available on-site. Note that there may be a parking fee, so keep some change handy.
Public Transportation
To reach Mitchelstown Cave by public transport, take a bus to Mitchelstown Town. Bus Eireann operates services from cities like Cork and Limerick to Mitchelstown. Once you arrive in Mitchelstown, you will need to take a taxi or arrange for a local shuttle service as there is no direct public transport to the cave. The taxi ride from Mitchelstown town center to the cave is approximately 10 minutes and may cost around €10-€15.
Walking (from Mitchelstown Town)
