Car
If you're traveling by car, head to Lismore Park, Cooldrishoge, Co. Waterford. From Waterford city, take the N25 road towards Cork. After approximately 25 km, take the exit for the R668 towards Lismore. Follow the R668 for about 10 km until you reach Lismore. Once in Lismore, follow the signs for Lismore Park. There is free parking available near the Giant Sequoia.
Public Transportation
To reach the Giant Sequoia via public transportation, take a bus from Waterford city to Lismore. Bus Eireann operates services on this route. Check the current schedule for bus times, as they may vary. Once you arrive in Lismore, you can either walk to Lismore Park, which is about a 15-minute walk (1.2 km), or check for local taxi services to take you directly to Lismore Park. Expect to pay approximately €10 for a taxi.
Walking
If you are already in Lismore and prefer to walk, head towards Lismore Park from the town center. Exit the main street onto the R668, and continue straight for about 1.2 km. You will see signs for Lismore Park. The walk takes around 15-20 minutes and is a pleasant stroll through the area.
