If you are driving, start by navigating to the N72 road in County Waterford. If you are coming from Waterford city, take the R680 road towards Kilmeaden, then merge onto the N25. Follow the N25 until you reach the exit for the N72 towards Lismore. Continue on the N72 for approximately 15 km, and you will find the Lismore Castle Viewpoint on your right, near Ballyin Lower. There is parking available along the roadside.

To reach Lismore Castle Viewpoint via public transport, take a bus from Waterford city to Lismore. Bus services such as the Bus Éireann route 360 operate regularly between these two locations. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Lismore, you will need to walk approximately 2 km to reach the viewpoint. Head towards the N72 road and follow it until you reach the viewpoint. Please check the bus schedule ahead of time for timings and availability.

If you are already in Lismore town, you can walk to the viewpoint. Start by heading towards the N72 road; it is about a 25-minute walk (2 km) from the centre of Lismore. Follow the N72 road towards Ballyin Lower, and you will see the viewpoint on your left. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the route may have some inclines.
