    If you're driving from Mullingar, take the N4 towards Athlone. Follow the N4 until you reach the exit for Athlone. Upon entering Athlone, continue straight until you reach the junction with the N61. Turn left onto the N61 and follow it until you see signs for the town center. Saint Peter's Tce is located near the banks of the River Shannon, and you will find Athlone Castle Visitor Centre at the end of this road on your right. The castle is well-marked, and there is parking available nearby.
