I can honestly say this was one of the highlights of my time in Ireland. Mark was an amazing guide who made every part of the walk feel personal and engaging. Instead of just repeating history, he shared stories, local knowledge, and little details that made you feel connected to the place and the people who have lived there for generations. You could tell how much he genuinely loves Howth and wants others to appreciate it too. His passion was contagious, and his sense of humor kept everyone laughing along the way. The conversation flowed naturally, and it felt more like exploring with a knowledgeable friend than being on a tour. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking (coastal cliffs, hidden paths, ancient ruins, and views that made us stop every few minutes just to take it all in). I left with a much deeper appreciation for Ireland’s history and natural beauty. If you want more than a typical tourist experience and are happy to spend a few hours walking and exploring, I couldn’t recommend this tour enough. It’s authentic, memorable, and the kind of experience that stays with you long after you leave.

Wonderful experience!

My husband and I decided to take this tour on a whim while we were staying in Dublin as part of our honeymoon. We had such a wonderful time with Mark and Missy (his adorable dog) and couldn't recommend this tour more to visitors. We got very lucky with the weather (sunny, 15c) however, we had such a positive experience, we agreed it would have been just as fun if it had been raining and gray. Mark was so kind, engaging, and warm which made the hike all the more fun and enjoyable. Howth was also extremely easy to get to via public transportation; one of my favorite things to figure out while traveling! The tour was about 4(ish) hours that included a gorgeous hike, a history tour, and a pint at the end with the entire group. There were also people from all over the world in the group and with Mark's care, everyone had the opportunity to chat and get to know each other. Overall, we feel very lucky to have found this gem.

My friend Sophia booked this tour for us and by far the hike will be my favourite memory of Ireland. Conor (one N not two) was absolutely amazing, he took us to his favourite tree, we climbed the cliffs and we even got to have some blackberries along the way. Thank you Conor, I shall remember that hike forever.
