From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km along the L1601 road towards Aille Caves. Follow the road signs; the caves will be on your left.     If you are already in the vicinity of Croagh Patrick and want to walk, head towards the R335 road. Walk northwest for approximately 5.5 km until you reach the L1601.
