From Croagh Patrick, head northwest on R335. Continue on R335 for approximately 5.5 km. Turn right onto L1601, which leads you directly towards Aille Caves. Follow the road for about 3 km until you reach the entrance of Aille Caves, which will be on your left. Parking is available near the entrance.

From the nearest bus stop in Westport, take bus route 450 towards Louisburgh. Alight at the stop for Aille. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km along the L1601 road towards Aille Caves. Follow the road signs; the caves will be on your left. If you are already in the vicinity of Croagh Patrick and want to walk, head towards the R335 road. Walk northwest for approximately 5.5 km until you reach the L1601. Turn right and continue walking for about 3 km. Aille Caves will be on your left. Ensure you wear sturdy footwear as the terrain may be uneven.
