If you're driving to Colonel's Woods from the Croagh Patrick visitor center, start by heading south on the R335 road. Continue for approximately 2.5 km until you reach the junction with the N59. Turn left onto the N59 and follow it for about 1.5 km. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto the R335 towards Westport. After about 1 km, turn right onto a smaller road marked for Knockranny. Follow this road for 1 km until you see the entrance to Colonel's Woods on your left. Parking is available near the entrance.
