Car
From Croagh Patrick, head west on the R335 towards Westport. Continue on this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with the N59. Turn left onto the N59 and follow the signs for Ballina. After about 7 kilometers, take the exit for the R319 towards Cross. Follow the R319 for about 5 kilometers, and then turn right onto a minor road leading towards Cross Beach. There will be signs directing you to Cross Beach. Parking is available near the beach entrance, and there may be a small parking fee.
Public Transportation
From Croagh Patrick, walk to the nearest bus stop on the R335. Take the bus towards Westport, which runs regularly (approximately every 30 minutes). Get off at Westport Station and transfer to a bus heading to Ballina. Ensure to check the schedule, as buses may not run frequently. Once you reach Ballina, take the bus towards Cross, which should drop you off near the entrance to Cross Beach. Be prepared for a short walk from the bus stop to the beach.
