Walking
To reach the Ring of Kerry from the heart of Dingle, start at the Dingle Harbour. Head southwest along the waterfront on the pier. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the R559 road. Follow this road for approximately 2 km. You'll pass beautiful views of the coastline. Once you reach the junction with the N86, turn left onto the N86. Continue straight for about 8 km until you see signs for the Ring of Kerry. You may need to navigate a bit further depending on your specific destination along the Ring of Kerry, but this route will get you started.
Bus
From Dingle, you can take a bus to access the Ring of Kerry. Start by walking to the Dingle Bus Station located on the main street, just a few minutes from the town center. Look for the bus service that operates to Killarney, as this will connect you to the Ring of Kerry. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. When you reach Killarney, you can join a guided tour from there that will take you through the highlights of the Ring of Kerry.
