    From Dingle, head to the Dingle bus station located on the main street. Take the bus to Cahersiveen, which is approximately a 45-minute ride. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for any changes. Once you arrive in Cahersiveen, you will need to transfer to the Valentia Island shuttle bus. This shuttle will take you directly to Valentia Island. Confirm the shuttle schedule as it may vary.

  • Walking

    After you arrive at the Valentia Island shuttle bus stop, you will need to walk to Valentia Island Lighthouse. From the shuttle stop, head towards the road called 'Valentia Island Loop.' Follow this road for about 2 kilometers. You will pass a few scenic spots along the way. Continue straight until you reach Cromwell Point, where the lighthouse is located. It should be clearly marked along your route.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Dingle. Once you have your bicycle, follow the same route as the bus to Cahersiveen. After arriving in Cahersiveen, take the road to Valentia Island, which is approximately 6 kilometers. After crossing the bridge to Valentia Island, continue on the main road and follow the signs to Cromwell Point. The lighthouse will be on your right.
