Car
If you're driving, head towards Bundoran. From the town center, take the R267 road towards Magheracar. Follow the signs for Shene House. The Nuns Pool is located near Shene House on Shene Ave, W End, Magheracar. There is free parking available nearby, but ensure to check local signs for any restrictions.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a bus to Bundoran. Bus Eireann operates routes to Bundoran from various towns in Donegal. Once you arrive at the Bundoran Bus Station, you can either walk or take a taxi to Magheracar. Walking will take about 20 minutes: head southwest on Main Street towards the R267, then follow the road until you reach Shene House. Alternatively, taxis are available outside the bus station, costing approximately €10 to €15 for the short trip to Shene House.
Walking
If you are already in Bundoran and prefer to walk, head towards Main Street. From there, take the R267 road towards Magheracar. It is a scenic route, approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) and should take around 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. Follow the road until you see signs for Shene House, where The Nuns Pool is located nearby.
