If you're driving from Donegal Town, take the N15 road towards Ballybofey. After about 13 km, take the exit towards the R232 road. Continue on the R232 for approximately 11 km, passing through the scenic countryside. When you reach the village of Laconnell, look for signs directing you to Assaranca Waterfall. Park your car along the Unnamed Road close to the waterfall. The walk to the waterfall is about 10 minutes along a walking path.

From Donegal Town, take a bus towards Ballybofey (Bus Éireann route 64). Get off at the Laconnell stop. From there, you will need to walk towards the Unnamed Road, which leads to Assaranca Waterfall. The walking distance is about 1.5 km and takes approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary, especially on weekends.
