If you are driving, start by heading north on the M1 motorway from Dublin city center. Continue on the M1, which will eventually change into the M50. Follow the signs for Howth and take exit 3 towards N32/Howth. After exiting, continue on the N32 until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Howth Road (R105) and follow it until you arrive in Howth village. Once in Howth, follow the signs for the coastal road towards Balscadden Bay. You will find Balscadden Rd, and the beach is located at 7, 9 Balscadden Rd. There’s parking available nearby.

To reach Balscadden Bay Beach using public transport, take the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) train from Dublin city center to Howth station. The DART trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Howth station, exit and walk towards the village center. From there, you can either walk or take a local bus (Bus 31B) that goes towards Balscadden Rd. If walking, head towards the coast and follow the path along the water until you reach Balscadden Rd.
