If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk to Baltray Beach from Drogheda. Start at the Drogheda Civic Trust building and head northeast on the North Rd (R132). Continue on the R132 until you reach the junction with the R167. Turn left onto the R167 and follow it until you reach Baltray. The beach will be visible as you approach the coast. The entire walk is approximately 5 km and should take about an hour, so wear comfortable shoes!

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Drogheda and follow a similar route to the walking path. Start from the town center and cycle along the North Rd (R132) heading northeast. Continue straight until the R132 merges with the R167. Keep cycling along the R167 towards Baltray Beach. There are bike lanes in certain areas, but be cautious of traffic. The bike ride is about 5 km and should take around 20-30 minutes depending on your speed.
