The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to Baltray village. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Baltray Fairy Mounds. Head straight on the main road, and then follow the signs to the mounds.

If you are up for a scenic walk, you can walk from Drogheda to Baltray. Start from the center of Drogheda and head east towards the River Boyne. Follow the riverbank until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue along the river path, which will eventually lead you to Baltray. The distance is about 5 km and will take approximately 1 hour. Once you reach Baltray village, follow the signs to the Baltray Fairy Mounds.
