From Drogheda, head to the Drogheda Bus Station located at 1, West Street. Take the Bus Eireann route 109 towards Navan. The bus will take you along the R132 and R161. Get off at the nearest stop to Bective Abbey. Walk approximately 1 km south on the R161 to reach Bective Abbey, which is located at the address R161, Bective, Co. Meath.

Start your journey from Drogheda Train Station. Take a train towards Dublin and get off at the next stop, which is Laytown Station. From Laytown, you can either take a taxi or begin a scenic walk towards Bective Abbey. It is approximately a 6 km walk to the abbey, following local roads towards Bective, ensuring you stay on R161.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Drogheda. Head south towards the River Boyne and take the footbridge across the river.
