Bus
From Drogheda, head to the Drogheda Bus Station on Fair Street. Look for the Bus Eireann service that goes to Dublin. You will want to take the bus heading towards Dublin City. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Busáras (the central bus station in Dublin), follow the signs for the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) train service. Purchase a ticket for Howth, which is the final stop on the DART line. Board the DART train towards Howth. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Howth station, exit the station and follow the signs for the Howth Cliff Walk, which is a short distance from the station.
Train
Make your way to the Drogheda Train Station located on the Dublin Road. Purchase a ticket for the DART service that goes to Howth. Board the train heading towards Howth. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Howth station, exit and follow the signs to the Howth Cliff Walk, which is easily accessible from the station.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Drogheda town center, you can walk to the Drogheda Bus Station or Train Station, depending on your preferred mode of transport mentioned above. From the town center, head south on West Street, which will take you to the bus or train stations.
