From the Drogheda town center, head south on West Street towards the River Boyne. Continue straight until you reach the bridge known as the Old Bridge. Cross the bridge to get to the south side of the river. Once you are across, turn left and follow the riverbank path until you reach the Drogheda Train Station. From the train station, take a train towards Dublin. Once you arrive at Dublin, disembark at Pearse Station. Exit the station and head towards the nearest bus stop for the 46A or 145 bus. Board the bus and ask the driver to let you know when you reach St Stephen's Green. The gardens are just a short walk from the bus stop, follow signs for 'Iveagh Gardens'.

Starting from the Drogheda Bus Station, board the bus heading to Dublin. Ensure to choose a bus that goes to the city center. The journey typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive at the Dublin Busaras (Bus Station), exit and walk towards O'Connell Street. From there, you can catch a Luas tram at the Abbey Street stop towards the Red Line. Get off at the 'Dawson Street' stop. From Dawson Street, walk towards St Stephen's Green, and you will find the entrance to Iveagh Gardens nearby.
