Getting There

Walking
Start at the Drogheda Bus Station. Exit the station and head south on Stockwell Street towards the River Boyne. Continue straight to reach the riverbank, then turn left to walk along the river. Follow the river until you reach the Bridge of Peace. Cross the bridge and continue straight on the other side. You will reach the main street, West Street. Turn right on West Street and walk until you reach the bus stop for Dublin. Take the bus towards Dublin City Center (usually Bus 100 or Bus 101). Ride until you reach the stop for Cork Street/Kilmainham. From there, walk along Inchicore Road until you see Kilmainham Gaol on your left.

Begin at the Drogheda Bus Station and take a bus heading towards Dublin. Look for a service that stops at the Heuston Station or Dublin City Centre. After arriving in Dublin, transfer to a bus that goes to the Kilmainham area (Bus 51 or 78). Ensure you get off at the stop for Inchicore Road. Once you get off, Kilmainham Gaol will be a short walk along Inchicore Road on your left.

Get off at Inchicore Road and walk a few minutes to Kilmainham Gaol, which will be on your left.
